Gutter Repair in Charleston, SC

Re-securing loose runs, sealing leaks, correcting pitch, and replacing damaged sections so your existing gutters drain the way they should.

Not every gutter needs replacing. Sometimes a run has pulled loose, a corner has started leaking, or one section sags and ponds water while the rest is fine. Repair gets your existing system draining correctly again without the cost of a full replacement.

We re-secure loose runs, reseal leaking joints and corners, correct the pitch on sagging sections, and swap out any piece that's too far gone — then test the whole system with water to make sure it carries.

What's Included

  • Inspection of the full gutter system
  • Re-securing loose or pulled-away runs
  • Resealing leaking seams, corners, and end caps
  • Re-pitching sagging sections for proper drainage
  • Replacement of damaged sections and hangers
  • Water test to confirm the system carries

Why It Matters

Stop leaks at the source

Most gutter leaks are at corners and seams. We clean and reseal them properly instead of smearing caulk over the problem.

Fix the sag

A section that ponds water is usually a pitch or hanger issue. We reset it so it drains.

Re-anchor loose runs

Gutters that have pulled away from the fascia get re-hung into solid material.

Honest assessment

If a repair won't hold and you'd be better off replacing a run, we'll tell you that up front.

Gutter Repair questions

How much does gutter repair cost in Charleston?
Every roof is different, so Raines prices gutter repair from a free on-site measurement. Call (843) 501-4063 and we'll come out, look at the job, and give you a straight number with no obligation.
Do you offer gutter repair on new construction and existing homes?
Yes — we handle gutter repair on both new builds and established homes throughout the Charleston Lowcountry.
What's the difference between seamless and sectional gutters?
Sectional gutters are pre-cut lengths snapped together every few feet, so they have a joint — and a potential leak — at each connection. Seamless gutters are rolled from one continuous coil to the exact length of your roofline, so the only joints are at the corners and downspouts. Far fewer seams means far fewer leaks over the life of the system.
Should I get 5-inch or 6-inch gutters?
Five-inch K-style handles most Charleston-area homes well. We recommend 6-inch when you have large or steep roof sections, lots of tree debris, or a history of overflowing in heavy storms — the bigger channel and larger downspouts simply move more water. We'll tell you which fits your roof when we measure.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. Call (843) 501-4063 and Blake will come out, measure your rooflines, and give you a free, no-pressure estimate.
